David C. Sales, FCIPHE, MIET recently became a registered and approved member of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering (CIPHE) Expert Witness panel authorised to give expert advice to the public and trade via the telephone, investigations and advisory reports sometimes leading up to Court attendance etc. The accolade further enhances David's work in this area of expertise whereby he has acted on several occasions as an independent Expert Witness in Court alongside Advocates and Counsel.

DAVID C SALES, FCIPHE, MIET, Consulting Engineer, Author & Academic has recently been appointed by the Baldwin Estate as Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health & Sustainability Consultant for this historic project. The main farmhouse is a Grade II Listed Building nestled in a fold of East Sussex near to the ancient town of Battle, site of the famous battle of Hastings in 1066. Apart from the house undergoing complete refurbishment, there is also a proposed rear extension in keeping with the tradition expressed by the local architecture of the time. The estate site-wide is fed by a new 200kVa electricity supply and an existing LPG network. Baldwins Farmhouse when complete will be state-of-the art with underfloor radiant heating throughout.

On the 1st July 2019 David C Sales, FCIPHE, MIET Consulting Engineer, Author & Academic, launched a new website (updated 06/07/2021).
The website aims to build a bridge between Clients and Consultancy providing an insight into his professional services and act as a source of continuously updated information on regulations and technology advancements.

In his spare time, David has been avidly training in the above art since 1974 with the Fei Lung Kwan (Flying Dragon Society) and recently awarded his 1st Degree Black Sash donning the "White Flying Dragon." Under the tough instruction of Shi-Gong (Master) Patrick Barber in conjunction with
Co-Lau (Senior Instructor) Ben Peel, subjects covered inter alia, have included animal forms, weaponry, calisthenics, formal techniques, sparring, self-defence, exercise, lion dancing, philosophy, medicine, and calligraphy. In the main, the whole invaluable experience in Chinese Martial Arts teaches confidence, respect, gentlemanliness, humility, fitness, healthy wellbeing, wisdom and a sense of belonging.

With David C Sales (Mechanical & Public Health) as overall Principal, they are Mike Mapston (Building Engineering Science), Roger Best (Electrical) and Steve Wilson (IT/Web Development).
